Black Panther 2 Video Shows Historical Reference Meeting Imagination

In celebration of costume designer Ruth E. Carter's Oscar nomination, a new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever video highlights the film's unique design intersection of historical callbacks and modern influences. Serving as the end of Phase 4 of the MCU, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is once again directed by Ryan Coogler. The sequel follows Shuri (Letitia Wright) as she attempts to process her grief following King T'Challa's (Chadwick Boseman) death while also facing off against Namor (Tenoch Huerta). As was announced earlier this week, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever earned several Academy Awards nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Angela Bassett, Best Visual Effects, Best Costume Design, and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
